Wheelbarrow Gardens
On Display Outside Dalkey Church
Children from schools in Dalkey and the surrounding area grow over-wintering plants and veg in brightly coloured wheelbarrows throughout the Autumn for display at Dalkey Creates. We team the kids with local businesses and individual sponsors in a real effort to assist schools in educating the kids in biodiversity in the community and sustainable living. Harold Boys' School won a prize at the Green Schools Awards, thanks to their wheelbarrows!
